at dito rin ay kanyang binanggit na may kinalaman sa issue nila ni Angelica Panganiban si Trina Candaza.

"Kasi na-meet ko si Betrina bago nag-start 'yung movie, tapos biglang hindi kami nagkita ng ilang buwan. Tapos after nung movie nag-reconnect kami," ani Carlo.

Nang direktang itanong kung nobya niya si Trina, sagot ni Carlo: "Yes."

Nang tanungin ng host na si Boy Abunda si Carlo kung naging patas ba si Angelica nang sabihin ito, tugon ng aktor: "Opo. Kung nasaktan ko siya nang ganoon, karapatan niya 'yon. Karapatan niyang pagdaanan, karapatan niyang maramdaman 'yon. At hindi ko dapat pigilan 'yon. Kaya nung sinabi niya 'yon at nakarating sa akin sabi ko ay okay lang naman."

Geisler and Evangelista, a psychologist whom the actor met while he was inside a 

rehabilitation center for his past drug addiction, tied the knot Friday,

photos the latter uploaded on Facebook showed.

Baron Geisler has tied the knot with his girlfriend Jamie Evangelista after a year of being in a relationship.

Geisler met Evangelista, a clinical psychologist, when he was getting treated for his drug addiction

in a rehabilitation center. They have been together since September last year.

Geisler has described Evangelista as "God's gift" to him.

He said in a previous interview: "I'm very blessed to have her in my life kasi I'm not perfect,

I'm God's work in progress, but I am striving to be the best version of myself."

"Without God by my side and without her, I cannot make it."

It was in September last year when the two became a couple.

Geisler shared that it was a case of "love at first sight."

First-time thespian Jansen Magpusao took home the best actor honor for his role as a bullied high school kid named John Denver. Asked what lesson could be picked up from watching his film, the 15-year-old Jansen told the Inquirer: “Don’t be too hasty in judging other people. Find out the truth about what happened first before posting anything against another person.”

Directed by Arden Rod Condez, "John Denver Trending" was named Best Film and also took home the awards for Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Music Score and Best Actor for Jansen Magpusao, who played the title role.

All these and more are what Cinemalaya 2019 film John Denver Trending aims to tell this August. Directed and written by Arden Rod Condez, this drama film shot in Antique follows a 14-year-old farm boy who gets accused of stealing an iPad. He then ends up in a brawl with a classmate to shield himself, but his whole life changes when the incident gets caught on video and circulates online.

John Denver Trending first gained recognition in Palanca, after winning second place in the Filipino screenplay category. What inspired you to tackle the theme and eventually write the story?

In August 2017, I was on my way to work in an e-hailed car when I heard the news over the radio. A mother in Negros found that her 14-year-old son had committed suicide inside their house. It was a shock to her. The boy was a happy child. But when the family went to the police station to get the boy’s death certificate as a requirement for his body’s embalming, they found out early that morning that he was sent by his teacher to the station to be used for a blotter report.
